Why do people spend most of their lives, working jobs they hate so much with all their time and energy, just to afford things that they don’t really need, just to live a lavish lifestyle, and then they die untimely from the stress of working hard on jobs you hate, you don’t really live to enjoy that luxury for long because most times you get weak in age before you attain some wealth, take time to do humanitarian and selfless service, it helps, everything in this world should not be about money to you.

Meaning all the stress, all the greed, all the selfishness, all the backstabbing and sacrifice to acquire this things are not worth it because at the end of the day, you die and leave all of the things you have acquired for someone or people you might not necessarily know to enjoy (vanity), you leave them here on earth, you are going back to where ever you came from just as you were born (very naked).

Life is more meaningful and fulfilling from the way you spend it, how much love you give, how much kindness you show, how much peace you have within you, if earthly riches was transferable to the great beyond, the world would have been worst than it is now, imagine, we have only one life to live and people are already killing each other and living like we are in the jungle( survival of the fittest), everyone is preying on the weak, instead of empowering and strengthening each other, everybody wants to be better than the next person, we want to accumulate wealth that we can not use 1quarter of, even if, we are given a long life like Metusellah in the Bible.

We get lost in chasing shadows and forget the things that matter the most, like, love, peace, happiness and harmony, we chase all this things and when we finally get them, we now begin to recount our life in regret because it was wasted chasing things that are perishable and we forgot to chase the only thing that never perish, which is our soul, it is all we are left with after the whole worldly hustle and bustle.

Quit working for things that your flesh and body needs alone, and work more on securing a good resting place for your soul, because at the long run in eternity, we only answer to how we spent our lives on earth and that is what determines whether your soul will rest eternally or start another shadow chasing in hell forever and ever, may God help us to work less for people of the world and do more of his work, Amen!!!
