A Wake-Up Call To Save Nigeria

Nigerians, please, wake up and be wise, we have played the fool for far too long, not so long ago they called us lazy, they shot at us and killed us at the END SARS protest simply because we asked them to do their jobs and stop the very security who are supposed to protect our life and property from killing and stealing from us, they left us hungry, they left us without security when bandits and kidnappers raped our daughters and our sons to behead for no reason, they took our lands and our homes and our dreams and our sources of livelihood, they allowed our sons and brothers to be slain in the middle east for political gains even though we have the capably to repel the insurgency in the country.

They subject our parents to doing demeaning jobs just to make ends meet but the difficulty in the country cant measure up with what our parents make in those God-forsaken Jobs and labor, they make our parents die premature deaths out of frustration and they live our mothers as young widows and our children fatherless exposing them to harsh conditions of living turning them into yahoo boys and slay queens.

They tell us to go to school promising us a bright future making our parents toil with their sweat and blood to amount to nothing because when you graduate hoping for a good life they confuse you the more by asking you to go and learn a skill without capital and with support because our parents are now tired from exhaustion from old age, they frustrate every effort we make to secure our future and that of our unborn children while building empires for themselves and their generations unborn.

WAKE UP from your slumber my country youths, All the youths and the people should suit up and show up, because this is a fight to finish, a fight for your sons, a fight for your daughters, a fight for your future, a fight for the masses, a fight for the weak, a fight for the less privileged, a fight for your right, a fight for your justice, a fight for your equality, a fight for your life.

It is better to die on your feet than life on your knees begging and eating crumbs when you can dine like a king when you stand for what is right. You have no reason to live if you have not found anything to live for or die for.

It is almost another election again, and they have come out again, singing the same old song of the same old lies all over again to promise you a positive change and then turn around to put you in chains instead, fight for your right to live, your right to breath.

The 2000 naira they give you to vote, will not sustain you for another 8 years. Let us pray for God to send us true leaders that want to genuinely lead us out of pain and hunger and not these power mongers and gluttons who are only after what they can eat.

PLEASE SHARE THIS IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CHILDREN AND THEIR FUTURE.
